I LIVE HERE

THIS has become of it.

This morning / afternoon really I awoke from some sort of trance. I slept better than I have in several weeks despite the construction of a new roof going on outside my dining room window. When I awoke I thought perhaps that I was dead – I kept repeating the thought audibly – questioning it. It seemed real, so I called my mother. I am not dead. I do however feel as if I did die and am now alive again. This experience is reminiscent of childhood experiences carried on by thoughts of the rapture. If you grew up in the pentecostal church you likely not only understand but have also experienced what I am talking about. You wake up in silence and you begin to think to yourself – my God, it is silent – did the Lord come, did he leave me here – so you immediately think of the most Godly individuals within your point of contact and you find them and when you see that they still move, breathe, have their being – you are comforted with the reality that all is not lost. The Lord is still in Heaven and his living children still on earth and you have not been left to fend for yourself in a new world of Godless living where love is not and sin is everything – as is death and pain and all unknowing. It is a good feeling to know that all still is – as we know it – the same. Larry Norman knows. Larry, stop being dead – it is bad for your body.
